Olive Smith MBTI Personality Type

Personality

What personality type is Olive Smith? Olive Smith is an INFJ personality type in MBTI, 6w7 - sp/so - 629 in Enneagram, RLUAI in Big 5, EII in Socionics.

I really do think she's INFJ. as an Fi user myself, I usually pick REALLY early on on what I'm feeling, and I was almost throwing the book through the window because of how EVERY FUCKIN TIME she felt something, she would just ignore it, put under de carpet and a smile on her face. She only realised she was in love with Adam after Ahn told her so. It's even more clear that she uses Fe when compared to Adam, who's an tert. Fi user. He rarely shows his emotions, but when he does, it's genuine, he doesn't really perform anything. It's very clear if he doesn't like someone or something, because he won't pretend he does. As opposed to her. There's a scene that makes it clear as water to me. They were alone and she was talking about her mother, and then she started crying. Something she didn't want to, and as she thought it was inappropriate, she said sorry. For crying. And explained that, usually, she wasn't that much a crybaby, and that was why she didn't like talking about her mother, because that makes her cry. And then his response was a smile and "Olive, you can talk about that. And you should allow yourself to be a crybaby sometimes." Ignoring the fact I'm simping for Adam again rn, this is only one moment there. There were more. How she went that far just to make her bff happy, how she sometimes said things literally opposite of what she was feeling because that was the "right" thing to do. How she was willing to not tell Adam about Tom just so he wouldn't be hurt, even if that meant hurting herself. How she told him she liked someone else, again being inauthentic to what she really felt. And then there's Ni and Ti. Definitely overthinking things. When she was alone, even with all that chaos, she would try to focus on what she was working on, both because it was the thing that made the most sense for her (Ti) if she wanted to get to her goal (Ni) of that pancreas cancer thing. She would stay over-focused on her work so she could distract herself of the chaos of everything she was feeling. An Ni-Ti loop? I think it makes sense. The fact is that she only would really go through her emotions when she was with someone else, with Adam, Ahn or Malcolm, and when she was alone, she would dig into work (Ni-Ti) or Se, eating and/or watching romantic comedies, again distracting herself and not processing her emotions.
