What personality type is Ame? Ame is an ENFP personality type in MBTI, 4w3 - sx/so - 478 in Enneagram, RLUEI in Big 5, EIE in Socionics.
edit: ENFP AME REAL IN ONLY A WEEK? I created an entire account just to talk about Ame ok but since I saw some people in the comments point the idea out as well I wanted to enforce my ENFP Ame agenda I guess (Also please don't say this is a kin vote just bc I'm an ENFP since I don't even kin her-Ive seen many ppl accused of this alr so PLS) - The Ne/Se debate: So ngl Ame definitely looks like ur stereotypical ISFP, and I'm not gonna blame any voter here, most characters who are similar to Ame (AKA: Menheras) are IxFPs so it was the obvious first impression. The main argument I see for Ame being a Se user is that "she's focused on the thrill of being a streamer" and that "she doesn't bainstorm". 1. Ame is completely detached from the real world: that is literally the main point of the game. While it is true that Se users are more focused on physical things like praise, this is actually more related towards her being on the image triad in enneagram (4) and also having an AP type with high F (Physics). Ne users can also be more focused on stuff like this when taking into account the other typings. The real point of having a main sensory function such as Se is how attached they are to the real, present world. Ame can't even tell which things are real or not (not even talking about when she takes drugs here, it's heavily implied that P-chan is her imaginary friend.) She also doesn't have a good sense of how time works which Se users *should* have. No high Se user is genuinely gonna think "yea reaching 1m followers in one month is easy peasy!" She has no real sense of anything happening around her at the present moment and is always focused on "what will happen next". Like bruh just bc she says she doesn't wanna stream one day doesn't mean she's automatically aware of the moment LMAO my girl is so lost 2. Ame DOES brainstorm and she actually focuses more in MEANINGS than in WHAT'S VISIBLE. LITERALLY on the day you first meet her she randomly starts talking about idol anime and instead of focusing on the VISUAL ASPECTS of it like the singing, the dancing, etc... She starts talking about the meaning of idol anime and why it's so pure compared to the real world. Ame is literally living in a fantasy where she wants to be like these idols and live in a fantastical, pure world. Her persona is literally an "internet idol angel". Also I think the game was kinda obvious in letting u know that she gets random ideas from literally everywhere?? Se users are grounded and realistic even when unhealthy. You can't say she has any of those qualities imo. Honestly I guess it just surprises me that she's typed ISFP instead of INFP... I just can't see any Se at all beyond wanting physical comforts but she's probably something like SEI in socionics anyway which would explain it. -Why Ne dom/Si inf instead of Fi dom/Te inf Yeah Ame's personality is super stereotypically Fi dom tbh, but think about it. When you start focusing more in the game, you will realize Ame has the average Ne dom/Si inf mindset already, since she says she will lose complete motivation of being a streamer if she does not reach this goal within a month. Also, like I said, Ame is just so detached from the outside world I cannot imagine her to be anything but Si or Se inferior like some other people have pointed out here. Things that are giving unhealthy Si inf: -Zero desire for stability and safety. INFPs have Si tertiary, which actually makes them long for stability in the long run, Ame has zero desire for a life like this, we can see it in multiple endings like Labor is Evil for example. -She is even willing of completely destroying her actual personality just to become Kangel and remain in a fake fantasy with P-chan. Si tert would never actually go through with this when Ame does it multiple times. "However, when Ne-doms rely too heavily upon Ne and suppress Si, they will develop an overly unrealistic and confused view of the world. Instead of using Si appropriately, Ne will use Si to collect “factual” evidence to confirm its own intuitions, premonitions, or ideas. In other words, Ne will develop a maladaptive tendency to misinterpret situations, misjudging the value of the possibilities they see and then entertaining paths that are impractical or unrealistic in expectations, thereby increasing the chances of failure. Something about unhealthy Te tert as well which I think is a good represntation of her sponsorships lol "Because EXFPs don’t have as developed use of Te as TJ personality types do, they risk using it in an unhealthy or imbalanced way. In their efforts to be objective they may become overly blunt and tactless. They may also become overly-confident when using objective logic spontaneously only to find that their arguments aren’t as well-thought-out as they should be."
