What personality type is Yoshiki ? Yoshiki is an ISTJ personality type in MBTI, 9w1 - sp/sx - 964 in Enneagram, RLUAN in Big 5, SLI in Socionics.
at first i also thought sp9, but after observing more, i believe Yoshiki is sp5. I don't have a full structured argument for it since we don't really know that much about him, but Yoshiki is an extremely fearful character to me, so I’m going to point some aspects here. One of the main differences between sp9 and sp5 is that sp9s often feel more.. empty. A disconnection from the inner self and the emotions is very noticeable, and while that is also shown in sp5, there is one emotion in specific that they experience more, being a part of the fear triad: fear and anxiety (lol, no one saw that coming). I think that the latter fits Yoshiki much more, with how he is always shown thinking about worst-case scenarios and overall being very prone to anxiety and the negative feelings (poor thing, he is so limbic). SP5s are typically more fearful and even more negative than SP9. Another traits of SP5 that fits potentially good with Yoshiki is that despite his somewhat easygoing personality, he is very closed off and tries to act “tough”. This was shown in the latest chapter, which makes me think he is very afraid of emotional vulnerability and even hypersensitive to it, trying to detach himself from his own emotions (which is a trait of enneagram 5 and the sp5 in special). He is also shown pretty often getting lost in thoughts and observing others, refraining to engage. Yoshiki seems to be a somewhat reclusive person and to be only close with Hikaru of all people (now the “Hikaru”). This is not really the main point of why I think he is sp5 (it is more of his fearful nature) since it could be any introverted logics > ethics type at all, but he has a lot of traits that could be related to sp5. so for now I’m sticking with sp594, until we see more about him.
