What personality type is Tyler Jones? Tyler Jones is an ESFJ personality type in MBTI, 1w9 - so/sp - in Enneagram, in Big 5, ESE in Socionics.
He's a classic ESFJ, I think! First, he takes his responsibilities very seriously, wants others to be happy and has strong morals. He's still very social, loyal, warm, altruist and humorous. I think most of his descriptions and character traits scream ESFJ. So, if we discuss the cognitive functions, Fe is pretty visible everywhere. He wants his team to feel comfortable, even before they really know each other, and prioritizes following his own morals as well as the official rules of the Aurora Legion. You can clearly see that he doesn't only care for other because of his job. His Fe is really strong and visible in many areas, that it alone causes conflict sometimes. I don't think I need to explain this more. If you look up Fe / Fe Dom traits, you'll immediately be reminded of Tyler. His Si is a bit less obvious, I think. But Si as auxiliary function helps gathering more data, from sensory info or comparing past experience, before acting and making decisions. While Tyler has strong morals and deeply cares for others, he's also not too quick making judgments if not needed. Also, he's quite good at noticing details. As stated multiple times, he's a strategist and values tactical thinking. While this not inherently sounds like Si, you can clearly see that his Si is always present in some kind. I'm not good at explaining Ne, but I'd say this is what allows Tyler to come up with creative solutions. I think we can all agree he's good at improvising :D Tertiary Ne is also associated with wit & humor which also fits very well. Those with Inferior Ti might tend to overthink/over-analyze, but it's also helping to make objective decisions which is something Tyler is also good at. Especially when under stress, his Ti is very obvious.
