Why Auxiliary Si or even the other votes present? (xSTJ) From the start, it was pretty evident to me that he uses Ti, Se, slightly unhealthy Ni, and Inferior Fe. ~Analyzing George's MBTI~ -ISTP- George is very sharp and straight to the point in his speech, he rarely provides lengthy explanations to anything. He is also always analyzing people and how they behave (like Lennie a lot of the times) and he often speaks from his analysis. He follows what makes sense logically and is emotionally out of touch, keeping his feelings out of his decisions. Oftentimes, he is finding what makes the most logical sense by also trying to considering others, like how he wants to protect Lennie. (Ti) Dominant Ti users strive for rational precision and want to continue focusing on logic when interacting, but then they are also prone to emotional breakdowns. In addition, they are focused on what makes the most rational sense, that can cause them to struggle w/ their opposing judging interacting function, Fe. In the first chapter in "Of Mice and Men", we notice George immediately breaking down after a while, he begins insulting Lennie and gets off, mentioning about past times and saying he'd want to put Lennie in a cage of mice if he could, plus George wants to also be by himself and do whatever he wants freely. George really wants to be with Lennie, but he struggles to show it and doesn't know HOW to admit it. (Ti- Inferior Fe) He is, truthfully, much more realistic than Lennie is. Oftentimes, he stores information from how it is seen (experiences, observations) literally and objectively. Therefore, he can be impulsive and often prioritize immediate action as well. His Ni displays, as he's the one to constantly plan out his and Lennie's dream farm and continue to focus on it. However, he can get sidetracked and often rarely put his dreams or desires into action when they planned for it. (Ti-Ni) So yes, I think he could be an ISTP, but why is he a Sp6 > Sx6? Just want to be enlightened and I'm open to new perspectives. ^^
