What personality type is The Darkling? The Darkling is an ENTJ personality type in MBTI, 1w9 - sx/sp - 135 in Enneagram, RCOEI in Big 5, LIE in Socionics.
In life, you have two main kinds of ENTJ in fiction-- either popular outgoing ones who're kinda annoying (looking at you, Wizard Kelly from The Proud Family) or charismatic but mysterious and tending to come off as more... sensual. (Aaravos from The Dragon Prince is a good example.) I'd say that the latter ENTJs often are mistyped as INTJs, but they really aren't INTJs. They do have a similar way of processing things internally, of studying others, that makes them LOOK INTJ-ish, but it's an Ni thing in general. You see Aaravos doing it, heck, you see most NJs in general doing it. INTJs are just more infamous for it bc they're so quiet and analytical. The giveaway is the seductiveness. Yes, INTJs are walking brains, but they are EXTREMELY awkward when it comes to ANYTHING physical. Talking to one of my INTJ besties about this last night, she confirms they're extremely sensitive about touch in general, and tend to have a REALLY LOW SEX DRIVE. ENTJs, on the other hand, have the analytical brain, they have the charisma, the group-oriented mindset (he does stuff initially for his people, and is frequently surrounded by people), and they have a certain physical seductiveness. They are living proof that they don't just have brains, they have bods and the language to seduce. I mean, COME ON... this is the guy who was called by at least one fan as " sex on legs"! XD So Introverted extravert ENTJ. He COULD be an EXTREMELY well-rounded INTJ at BEST (and that's only giving the caveat that he's lived hundreds of years, plenty of time to round himself out, but given circumstances I'd say that's unlikely), but an introverted extrovert of an ENTJ is more likely. Keep in mind his last words to Alina: Don't let me be alone. If you typed him as INTJ.. don't worry, I typed him as INTJ until I found all that out. Biography
The Darkling “Aleksander Morozova”, is a Shadow Summoner, the former Second in Command in all of Ravka, and the former leader of the Second Army. As a Shadow Summoner, the Darkling is able to summon and control darkness and shadows. He can use the Cut, a lethal ability that uses shadows or darkness to create a slicing effect on the target.
