Se ego types (LSI) value making things happen by force and even conflict, being forceful and direct to physically impact and mobilize others. Though Frank may be strict with his children, he is quite laid-back at most points. Si valuing and creative makes sense as he values comfort and protecting his well-being; Si egos desire and are adept at creating comfortable and pleasant conditions. For example, he greatly enjoys relaxing with his hobbies and family, which makes sense as Si valuing, thought not as his base (aka his leading function). Fe valuing (LSI) types rather desire to impact the emotional and social space through expressed emotions and emotionally charged atmospheres.
