What personality type is Gehrman, The First Hunter? Gehrman, The First Hunter is an ENTP personality type in MBTI, 6w7 - sp/so - 631 in Enneagram, SLUEI in Big 5, ILE in Socionics.
For me makes sense Gehrman being an ENTP since he is the first of hunters but at the same time didn’t show up as leader or anything to keep the hunt, he just started the with unorthodox method of hunting with special weapons and agreed with having audience with elden ones (for me that’s a sign of a slightly insane Ne driving him to do things). This friend of hunters also seems to use Ti-Si when it comes to explain phenomenas based on experiences or even making tools for experimental purposes in a very modest way. Fe on him suits well because of how he approaches to the player, more enthusiastic than gloomy despite his situation and how it affects him. I couldn’t see Se on him at all, Gehrman didn’t show any interest or skill on making immediate and direct impact to be sustained on the activities he did, probably his most notable lack of Se showed up when he opted for leaving hunt and its expansion on shoulders of other skilled hunters in order to learn more about the Elden Ones. Probably Gehrman could be considered as a polymath (an area where is not hard to find ENTP personalities) since he came up with more ideas than any other character could in the game about many aspects, and that’s just perfect for a novice hunter to get ideas from him. I know there are also characters who had many ideas and lucid insights on the game like Master Willhem or even Micolash, but they focused more on one idea rather than experimenting and getting too involved in experiments while keeping a distance, I would consider them as INTJ (LII). However it is, I just wrote my thoughts on Gehrman’s character and how ENTP suits well for someone with his story, don’t take it too serious and I’m open to read your conclusions too.
