MBTI: ENTJ Te Dom- I don’t have much evidence that’s very specific or nuanced for his Te, but I feel that I can still argue this due to his extreme lack of Fe. Johnny never ever ever takes into consideration how others will respond to what he has to say and instead just says things as he sees them no matter what. Even when it came to Alt, his girlfriend, he is never seen actually considering her concerns and just sticks to bluntly dishing bout what he views as the truth. Ni Aux- Johnny is shown to exhibit tons of Ni throughout the game. When V is prompted to make a choice, Johnny often shows up and almost always warns V that the deal he’s being offered is fishy (though he uses much harsher language). When asked how he knows these things he simply answers with “Intuition”. Johnny makes all of his decisions based off of gut assumption, clearly demonstrating Ni. Literally says that once you live in night city for so long “people don’t need to “know” things to know things”. Se Tert- In flashbacks we can see that Johnny never really makes plans ahead of time and just sort of figures it out as he goes. When Alt is taken Johnny doesn’t first hash out a plan on how to get her back, he just immediately rushes off to save her and gathers help on the way. He also demonstrates that sort of sensory stimulation that Se’s are associated with with his overindulgence in tobacco, alcohol, and sex. Fi Inf- Johnny also shows a good amount of Fi. His whole life is based around quest to bring down Arasaka, increase freedom, and his most importantly his extreme beliefs that cause this. No matter what those around him think, he holds right to these extreme values of his and is quick to lash out if he feels they aren’t also subscribing to them. ———————————————————————————— Enneagram: 8w7 sx/so E8- Johnny’s whole quest to take down Arasaka and free everyone from this control he feels they have is a clear demonstration of his type 8. Moreover we can see his fear of being controlled and desire for freedom with how he can’t be tied down by anyone immediately freaks out and desires control of V’s body. Why not w9?- Does a man who will go to war with a massive corporation and literally nuke of building give off any semblance of type 9? Biography
Johnny Silverhand, born as Robert John Linder, was a famous influential rockerboy and the lead singer of the band Samurai before its breakup in 2008. A military veteran who defined the rockerboy movement to what it is today, he was the most prominent figure that fought against the corrupted NUSA government and the megacorporations, often being described as a terrorist. Johnny is charismatic and quite the charmer. However he is also known to be irrational, impulsive, and a manipulator. Johnny has a temper and seems to always be on edge, partly due to his history in the Second Central American War. His dedication and ambitions are what keep him going, but at the end of the day he doesn't care much for the people around him as long as they are used to accomplish his goals.
