What personality type is Grayson Hawthorne? Grayson Hawthorne is an ENTJ personality type in MBTI, 8w9 - so/sx - 853 in Enneagram, SCOEI in Big 5, in Socionics.
I frankly don't understand why there are so many ESTJ votes, ENTJ makes much more sense. He's obviously Te dominant but here are some points why Ni>Si: He's very future and big picture oriented (we can see it in the scene where Grayson meets Avery to teach her about the Hawthorne Foundation, he's focusing on things as a whole rather than individually). Him saying "We should direct our resources to wherever objective analysis says we can have the largest impact" is quite a good representation of Te-Ni dynamic. He's also very quick to connect things (figuring out and connecting certain clues subconciously and right away). He even mentions that he studied different modes of charitable givings with the purpose of impoving the Hawthorne Foundation (which contradicts with Si using methods that has been tried and proven true, and backsup Ni tendency to improve and innovate. Also some examples of tert Se could be his desire to experience things and to connect with the physical world (his interests in travel, photography, using swimming and sword fighting as a way how to clear his mind...). Also Avery claims that the way her mind works is very similar to Grayson's, which is usual with INTJ/ENTJ interactions (it may not be a strong argument to prove he's ENTJ, but I think it's worth mentioning.
