He is not ESFJ, he is ESFP, let me explain. I feel like he went through a big trauma and that affected his FI, developing a big sense of duty, because he feels like thats the right thing, nothing to do with SI. He ultimately uses FI like any other FI user, as a works to shape its own worldview, a personalized system of values that can serve as a platform for self understanding and decision making. If he didnt go through the trauma of losing his friend, he would probaly still be an ESFP stereotype, now, he is still an ESFP but with a war veteran experience of traumatic events, PTSD basically xd. His FI manifests as something similar to SI. Also he clearly was using SE in the cinematic. When he fought the robots, he charged into the middle of the enemy team without a plan, SI users arent like that at all, they watch for details, they compare with past experiences and what not. Besides if he was an ESFJ, he wouldnt go alone and leave his team unprotected. ESFJs are constantly doing things for others and that wasnt him at all. He may be like that in the present time, but only because his FI was shaped that way, due to the death of a friend, and how it happened.
