What personality type is Kuvira? Kuvira is an ENTJ personality type in MBTI, 8w9 - so/sp - 836 in Enneagram, SCOEI in Big 5, SLE in Socionics.
Kuvira's personality heavily resembles a Sexual One. Driven by self-righteousness through aggressive means to create order and reunite the Earth Kingdom, she fits the Sexual 1's "Zeal" or intensity of desire to improve either individuals or a collective into "the way it should be". Similar to a Social 8, she's oriented towards protection and loyalty (to both her kingdom and people), but she lacks the defining characteristic of an anti-social aspect in regard to society's rules. In fact, she's heavily recognizant to them, showing both obedience and a calm disposition to authority figures in Zaofu (An example of a Social 8 is Naruto, to which I've provided my reasoning in the comment section of his page). In Beatrice Chestnut's "The Complete Enneagram: 27 Paths to Greater Self-Knowledge", she uses the following ways to describe the Sexual 1. "These Ones have an intensity of desire fueled by anger that motivates them to want to improve others. This can be expressed as a sense of excitement, passion, or idealism about the way things could be if people would reform their behavior, or if the reforms they envision were enacted by society. This makes them compelling and vehement." "This One's anger infuses his desire with a special intensity or urgency and the person has the sense that "I have to have it," or "I have a right to it," or “I have to improve it (society or another person) to make it the way I know it should be." "In the Sexual One, this intensity of desire can support the impulse to reform or perfect specific others or to make the world a better place in the way this One believes it should be. Sometimes, this desire to perfect others grows out of a genuine belief in an enlightened vision of reform or idealism." All of the descriptors perfectly describe Kuvira. Aggressive to those who defy her and motivated by a genuine will of righteousness and improval to her kingdom, she uses both intimidating and persuasive means to fulfill her goals. Her instinctual stacking is likely sx/so, describing her similarities with type 8. The instinctual energy of this subtype is the most at odds with their dominant Oneness. This subtype is the most intense. They are looking for perfection in everyone they are close to, not just their spouses. They can be very charismatic and engaging. They can also be very persuasive, like the social/sexual. If they have an opinion you are going to hear about it. It’s very important for them to be understood. They are outwardly competitive. Like the social/sexual, they too may be mistyped as other enneatypes. The anger that is under the surface with the other instinctual variants of type One is much more likely to be apparent with this subtype. You always know where you stand with them. They can mimic type Eight’s energy in this regard. On the high side, this type is warm and engaging, but on the down side this same energy can bring with it the full brunt of the One’s anger and the need to be right. Kuvira is a master metalbender who served as a political and military leader of the Earth Kingdom and the Earth Empire between 171 and 174 AG. Traumatized from her parents abandoning her as a child, Kuvira was driven by a fierce desire to protect and guide the citizens of the Earth Kingdom by achieving national unity through the use of military force.
