What personality type is Josuke Higashikata? Josuke Higashikata is an ENFP personality type in MBTI, 9w8 - so/sx - 792 in Enneagram, SCUAI in Big 5, IEE in Socionics.
I think it's possible Josuke has 9 in his tritype but I don't think Josuke himself is a 9 just because he doesn't like to cause trouble. Also the Josuke we see in episode 1 where he willingly takes crap from bullies doesn't really appear again. I feel this was more done just to differentiate him from Jotaro immediately but it's not really a part of his character. I also don't think a type 9 ENFP would go out of their way to try to rip off a person through a game by cheating, only for that game to end up burning that person's house down. Even if Rohan is someone that Josuke dislikes, this seems way out of character for a 9w8. Josuke is definitely a nice guy and if you don't insult his hair he'll never throw a fist at you, but I don't think that makes him a 9w8. 7w8 seems more fitting to me, he's very aggressive about what he wants to do and it's not hard to get him to go along with any crazy thing that's going on. Need someone to help you collect a bunch of money for a get rich quick scheme? Josuke is there! Need someone to randomly hunt down a murderer? Josuke is there! I don't think 9w8 is impossible mind you but I think this became the consensus due to his kind nature and his ability to heal. I think due to the show's nature and Josuke's tendency to just go with the flow leads people to believe he is a 9, but to me that just means he's an ENFP and is vastly different from the previous JoJo leads. Also Josuke is my favorite JoJo so I'm glad to finally write a comment for him!
Biography
Josuke Higashikata (東方 仗助, Higashikata Jōsuke) is the protagonist of Diamond is Unbreakable and the fourth JoJo of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure series. Josuke is a high school first-year residing in the town of Morioh. He soon meets Jotaro Kujo, who informs him that he is Joseph Joestar's illegitimate son. After his grandfather dies, Josuke takes it upon himself to protect his beloved town from malevolent Stand users. Josuke wields Crazy Diamond, a powerful Stand with the power to repair almost anything.
