I had ENTJ initially, based on a few bits of dialogue here and there that seemed to indicate Ni superficially, but there were two major segments of the plot that I ignored the first time because they are less dialogue-based: • We can infer from the scenes where Cross is testing out new technology that he likes to be thorough, exhausting every possible permutation in order to get to a functional result, rather than trying to discard possibilities before the testing phase through more theoretical means. This to me indicates Si/Ne (with Te). • Going overboard with the additional security is paranoia more than anything, but here too, Cross shows the same Si/Ne tendency toward thoroughness and the need to account for a variety of different possible outcomes. Typically, we don't see in ESTJs the kind of narcissism that Cross displays throughout the movie, but he is nevertheless limited in how ostentatious his actual dialogue gets. All else being equal, a type with high Ni, in the same position and with the same narcissistic behavioral quirks, would have a greater tendency to devolve into a more showy, metaphorical style of speaking. Cross's dialogue remains relatively concrete.
Biography
Doctor Darren Cross was the protégé of Hank Pym who usurped his mentor as CEO of Pym Technologies and rebranded it as Cross Technologies. His obsession with Pym's former creation of the Pym Particles caused him to try to replicate his own version, which he then intended to sell to HYDRA and the Ten Rings. Darren Cross was an extremely cruel and ruthless businessman who was willing to use Hank Pym's Pym Particles as a weapon. He was a man who believes that his ends justified the means and would easily attempt to use anything in order to gain his final goal of miniaturizing organic matter, including using lambs to shrink even if the end result was a failure and once this was accomplished Cross had no qualms about flicking the successfully shrunk lamb in its container as a mere plaything. He was a good person when he started working for Pym as his protege, but that changed when Cross became obsessed with the Pym Particles and the Ant-Man Suit.
