Personality

What personality type is SpongeBob SquarePants? SpongeBob SquarePants is an ESFJ personality type in MBTI, 7w6 - so/sx - 721 in Enneagram, SLOAI in Big 5, ESE in Socionics.

Changed my vote from ENFP to ESFJ. Ne is definitely there, but I think it‘s the third „relaxation“ function. His Fe is more obvious, he is able and absolutely wishes to connect with everyone, and he wants everyone to desperately like him, even if they are mean to him. He hardly ever judges anyone, even if their behavior is clearly wrong. There are also some episodes that show how important it is to him how others perceive him and he adapts in any way so that they like him. (Like the episode where he wants to be normal and boring for Squidward). He also wants to help and support everyone. He also has no problems with routine and is quite happy with the way things are now. Also unlike primary Ne, he lives in and enjoys the moment instead of thinking about the future. Also, while ideas of people with strong Ne often stay in their head because they don’t know how to implement them, Spongebob has no problems implementing and acting on them. He is also more people-centered than ENFPs and can act very codependent, he always needs someone around. I suppose that’s why his dynamic with Patrick is interesting, and Gary, they are both INTPs and polar oposites.
