I've been a fan since his breakout L DK main role, so I'll write down some of the stuff he's said over the years. About finishing Mare's filming: "I think everyone is seriously growing, but basically, we never change as a person. Even if half a year has already passed, as I think about it this time, I could feel that I have grown through the things I've experienced in that role, as well as within myself. However, the important thing in us is that we never change." Fi-Si. Yamaken has also stated that his life motto is "Happiness first." This now sounds like a high Ne, specifically auxilliary, stereotype: "I zone out when riding the elevator, so when someone gets off, I end up going along just like that." As to doing Nagata in Gekijou, he kept empathizing with the latter in interviews despite the negative image of the role, saying there were many times he understood the character's jealousy and irritation at the root, and he admired that humanity, while Matsuoka Mayu worried his reputation might get damaged if he kept saying things like that. Then there's him always accidentally being funny when he talks and his language processing/thinking, such as the "Curry avocado cheese? Avocado curry cheese? Avocado cheese curry?" Si as his relief function can be seen in his mundane interests like browsing furniture, sleeping until evening when he's not working and just eating, claiming to have no hobbies, etc. His approach towards doing the action scenes in Kingdom, which he couldn't accomplish at first was also to keep practicing the same method over and over again. And although filming was harsh, he credited RyoKanna for being able to relax, since he already knew them well. For AIB, too, he described the feeling of working with a team he's familiar with as home. Furthermore, when inquired if it was hard to keep Shin's tensed feeling, he answered, "I hated from the bottom of my heart, the ones who killed my best friend." Fi-Ne. He kind of just flies off when he speaks lol. I'll add this for fun: "Of course, [my ambition as an actor], it’s to spend my life to become the greatest actor under the heavens." A reference to Shin's signature line in the manga. Upon sharing the advice he received when he was about to lose heart, I think his friend captured a Te-user's struggle. "At a time when I was working so hard that work was all I could see, my friend told me, 'It's too much. Like, work makes up 100% of your life. Since it feels like everything is bad when work doesn't go well, you should think of work as just one thing within your life.'"
