Personality

What personality type is Tiberias Calore ("Cal")? Tiberias Calore ("Cal") is an ISTJ personality type in MBTI, 1w2 - so/sp - 162 in Enneagram, RCOAI in Big 5, in Socionics.

Me, reading the books: he is such a total ISTJ Me, seeing the votes: wait what Why is there not a single ISTJ vote? Dominant Fe?? Tertiary Ne??? I mean, I get where the SFJ votes are coming from (golden prince and all), but even Victoria Aveyard called him the Brick. He has no smooth social awareness. He almost even shares the naivety and idealism associated with INFPs which makes a lot of sense—soft ISTJs get lost in that tertiary Fi. I was rereading the books with an INFP friend recently and the extent with which he loved and related to Cal was astounding. The whole books are literally the arc of this Brick accepting that change was possible. With how much he always saw the negative possibilities change would bring and how they should stick with what is reliable and build from there, there is no way this boy had any sort of balanced accessible Ne. Have you heard anything more Si-dom? And where are those Ni votes coming from even?? He had no vision or deep insight into situations. He wanted to follow in the footsteps of his father, but make it more morally right, which is because of his tertiary Fi empathy and values. The ISFJ vote is the only one I see the sense in (because he also showed Ti with his tinkering) but I think what we saw with the aversion to disruption of harmony and pushover status wasn't SiFe but SiTe. The aversion to change and disruption of how things were is Si—he showed no aversion to disrupting the emotional atmosphere of a room. The opposite, even, he seemed not only blind to people's true emotions or the atmosphere, just doing his thing, other that when he was commanding soldiers he related to and understood (TeFi), he was also as stubborn as he was a pushover. Fe has nothing to do with being a pushover, it's just about that social smoothness (which he clearly lacked). That firmness or lack of it has more to do with OPS's masculine/feminine energy. I'm not fond of the names, but his Si was masculine and unyielding while his extroverted judging function of Te was feminine. He was stubborn in his masculine Fi values instead. And when considering the balance of Te and Ti in ISTJ, it makes even more sense—he seems to enjoy figuring out how things work and how logically consistent they are and do it plenty. P.S. He seems Inquisitive, considering his tinkering and passion for learning and inventing and art. I understand the N vote, but while he showed a lot of love for tradition because of Si, he was also very open to change and adaptable (the way he embraced Montfort and wanted to learn more) and also quite understanding—for an Si-dom, at least. The openness would probably be on the border, but I see it leaning toward Inquisitive.
