What personality type is Geno? Geno is an ISTJ personality type in MBTI, 1w2 - so/sp - 126 in Enneagram, RCOAI in Big 5, ESI in Socionics.
Changed my mind. I think he’s Si-dom rather than Ni-dom. He’s in Mario’s world for a practical purpose, which is one that may look like an intangible Ni idea to those who don’t know anything about the Star Road, but it’s very real and obvious where he comes from. I don’t really see inferior Sensing at all with him. He didn’t choose the Geno doll to inhabit out of a hunch, but rather because he “looked the strongest out of all the dolls,” which makes me think he relies on whatever sensory information he perceives to be the most practical for the job he’s been assigned. He also has a repeating catchphrase — “Come on! Let’s get this show on the road” — and repeating oneself often is more of a Si-type fixation to have. It’s true that an iNtuitive could still have some or all of these traits, but I just don’t really see much Ni to counter these observations. 🤷🏻♂️
Biography
“I serve… a higher authority…” Geno (whose real name is ♡♪!?) is a warrior from Star Road and one of Mario's partners in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. He is sent by "a higher authority" to restore peace to Mario's world. During the events of Super Mario RPG, he teams up with Mario's team, which consists of Mario, Mallow, Princess Toadstool and Bowser and helps them out on their quest to defeat Smithy. In battle, he has high attack, but lower defense. Geno's personality is strongly based on his confidence and attitude. Geno has more of a defiant, heroic attitude. His eagerness to confront the villain may be due to his status as an authority figure from Star Road. He also tends to show more enthusiasm than any other party member.
