hello dead page im about to make an argument on its nothing new :3 i believe the people who typed aoi immediately thought about the coping mechanisms of an sx 6 (understandable) but SP 6??? i seriously have No idea where any of that came from, I LITERALLY CANT BELIEVE PEOPLE DIDNT GO FOR SX 6 IF THEY WERE GONNA GO FOR E6 which is still wrong but at least theyd be on the right track 😭😭 ANYWHOOOO now for my arguement aoi is a literal stereotypical sx8. a stereotypical 8 IN GENERAL. all the way down to his core hes an 8. and no its not cause "E8 IS WHEN MEAN 😡😡😡" he is grounded, opinionated, realistic, and wants control over his surroundings constantly, he also has a habit of pointing out when he thinks something is unjust even if its just to be contradictory and he doesnt even expect anything out of it. you can tell the way aoi thinks when making decisions throughout the game is it has to be one way or the other, black or white. he refuses to show weakness both to get attention, and to reduce his possible suspicion of his strong involvement in nonary game 2. he is described to be "playing the part of a superficial youth" which is where i think the acting out for attention and control comes from. it may also mix with his heart type fix. Now im going to use stereotypes here (that enneagram 8 doesnt want to be controlled) but i think using them to type a LITERAL stereotypical 8 is just fine. Aoi doesnt let many speak over him, and when he does, hes not very cooperative about it anyways 😭 the key patterns of an enneagram 8, more specifically when engaging conflict, 8s quickly voice disagreements with people's opinions or actions with little to no hesitation, they have no problem with engaging in conflict that will move things forward this reminded me RIGHT ON THE MONEY of something from aoi's description on his wiki: As long as he's okay, that's all that matters to him; he doesn't care what happens to everyone else. He often is the voice of dissent, starting arguments and causing cracks in the tenuous group peace. (this came right from his writer as well) as well as e8s acting out as a way of caring, but usually other people do not understand this and may just see said 8 as domineering, controlling, and difficult. 8s are morally intelligent, and they can live in their heads too thinking everyone will just "get it" pretty much. aoi doing ALL of what he did just for the purpose of Changing the past for akane, just because he cares so much about her, Ya. exactly why im bringing it up, sounds similar right? Lust also drives this type's tendency to be intense and their difficulty slowing down or working less. It also underlies their struggle to moderate their energy, intensity, or effort. It manifests in the forcefulness of their communication style and their tendency to act quickly and decisively without stopping to think first.
