What personality type is Saki Oroku "Shredder"? Saki Oroku "Shredder" is an INTJ personality type in MBTI, 8w7 - sp/sx - 863 in Enneagram, RCOEI in Big 5, LSI in Socionics.
Ni VS Si The Shredder definitely hates the Hamato clan for killing his clan and wants to wipe them out in turn but it does not necessarily mean he is an ISTJ. For one, despite his life-long grudge against the Hamato clan, he has demonstrated himself to be willing to look past the mistakes of those who interfere if they are of use to him. He is also very manipulative towards both his allies and his enemies, something an ISTJ is typically not great at. Despite working with the Kraang, he knew better than to trust them, he also knew how to manipulate both Splinter and Karai to achieve his ends.He is someone who is capable of seeing the bigger picture BUT only if it's related to his goal of restoring the Foot Clan and exterminating the Hamato Clan. This is because he doesn't care about anyone else (except Karai until after his stablized mutation). So when you think about it, he was an INTJ who wasted his talents and potential to win a short-term game of "mousetrap" when he was capable of so much more. Why Shredder's "Si" is actually Fi Shredder's past-oriented behavior can also be interpreted as his rigid code of honor. He was once loyal to the Hamato Clan until he realized they lied to him the whole time and wiped out his entire family. So his Fi is more like his value for family and his clan. Think about it this way, despite the way he treated Karai and his violent threats towards his underlings, they were still the Foot Clan, his "family". Despite his hypocrisy, ruthlessness and treachery to anyone outside the Foot Clan, he never killed any of his own unless they betrayed him except for Karai (his only memory of Tang Shen). This is all debatable of course, but I think he is an INJT because of his ability to manipulate others, realize people's potential skills, and his loyalty to the Foot Clan.
Biography
Known as Saki Oroku, Shredder is Splinter's old childhood friend, being raised alongside him. Turned bitter when Tang Shen (a girl both Splinter and him were after) chose Splinter instead of him, and burned the entire dojo down, killing Tang Shen in the process. Adopted Tang Shen's daughter Miwa, raising her to be Karai instead. Being the leader of the biggest crime clan in NYC and Tokyo, Shredder is Master Splinter's biggest opponent and will have his team stop at nothing until both Splinter and the Ninja Turtle's are dead.
