just wanted to come down and say that the entire concept of 'The Mask' (the face and persona James puts on when he's concealing his emotions) is entirely Fe. Like...the idea of hiding your personality and authenticity to appeal to social expectations and keep up appearances would piss of an Fi dom SO MUCH. Compare him to Lucie?? Lucie would explode if she had to put on a Mask, while James has been doing it for forever. The Mask is just extroverted feeling to a concept, 100%, no argument. High Fe users are capable of having their own opinions, it's just that they're more likely of concealing them and hiding them to be who they need to be for the sake of the group or society. Also, another thing about INFJs that fits James is that they're extremely analytical and often rationalize with Ti. There's no way James has inferior thinking lol. He has a warm, agreeable persona that blends with a strong analytical side that jumps out every time he's with his friends. That's why IxFJs make such capable leaders. A healthy one is able to balance everybody in the group and make them all feel heard while being extremely rational. James' leadership style is nothing like Te (nevermind that an INFP James' Te would be INFERIOR, which doesn't even sound right). It's all Ni-Ti in that he asks the second and third question for a more thorough picture. Also, the 'loyalty binds me' gracelet thing is SUCH unhealthy INFJ in an Ni-Ti loop. He was distant because he was lost in his own thoughts and rationalizations, translating the concrete 'Grace' situation into abstract concepts (his belief that he was cursed, how he thought of love as pain and seemed fascinated and resigned with the concept *alone* while not being aware of the situation outside his own intuition and thought processes). James got out of the Gracelet by engaging his Fe and being around and engaging with people again.
