in WHAT universe is Soda an ESFJ. how can you look me in the eye and tell me he doesn't have Se in his function stack? he is quite literally the example of a se dom. "or ignore it and love life anyway, like Sodapop" JFC how the actualy fk can you tell me this is not pure 7 reeking from him. soda runs from responsibilities or things he doesn't enjoy by simply...running. just that. he quit school bcs of that. he ignores his problems and is oppurtunistic. enneagram 7 at its FINEST. literally definition of it. textbook. back to the school point, multiple times it is explained that he doesn't like school or value education at all bcs he finds it boring and unstimulating. plus he didn't get good grades, so he dropped out. now i get where y'all are coming from with enneagram 9, since he does mediate conflict between darry and pony.i think thats because he has a strong 9 fix. but in no way do the int/disintegration patterns match. sure, he does fear losing darry and pony and likes to mediate conflict so he doesn't lose them. i do think he is more of a 7 though.
Biography
Sodapop Patrick Curtis is the middle Curtis boy, and one of three deuteragonists of The Outsiders. He's said to be "movie star handsome," and has silky, dark gold hair (real tuff) that he combs back. He's got dark brown (recklessly, dancing) eyes and a goofy grin that you can't help but love (which is noted by Ponyboy after getting jumped by the Socs).
