What personality type is Qi Lin? Qi Lin is an ESFP personality type in MBTI, 6w7 - sx/so - 649 in Enneagram, SLUAI in Big 5, in Socionics.
Why is she ENFP? I don't see any Ne in her. Se-Ni She's constantly acting on impulse and is always living in the moment. Qi Lin never stops to think or consider different possibilities or options, she always dives into action (i.e. she immediately chase after Cang Shu when she found she was going to the dentist). She is pretty athletic without much effort too. You can see her inferior Ni in the way she usually ignores or hold little importance to her future and the consequences it holds. Fi > Fe She is quite protective of Cang Shu in the way Fi users are towards the people they care about. She holds value to her own emotions and opinions when interacting with the other characters. She doesn't really try to "blend in" like Fe users would. Apart from Cang Shu, she doesn't' really make an effort to understand or connect with other people either. As for her enneagram, I think she is a 6 with 7 wing, Qi Lin doesn't suppress her self-doubts and negative feelings to appear optimistic and chase new possibilities like E7s do, she gets more anxious and tend to act out of fear (Qi Lin gets easily jealous and protective when it comes to Cang Shu who she finds comfort and security in and 6's greatest desire are security and guidance). Her devoted reliance and loyalty towards Cang Shu is typical 6 core behavior. However, her 7 wing gives her a more cheerful, upbeat demeanor.
Biography
Qi Lin is one of the two main protagonists and the second one we meet. On the surface, she is an energetic and brash tomboy, but in reality, she is a stepford smiler with bad memories of her dark and troubled past.
