What personality type is Cal Kestis? Cal Kestis is an INFP personality type in MBTI, 6w5 - sp/so - 694 in Enneagram, RCUAI in Big 5, EII in Socionics.
Early in the second game there's a moment that highlights his dominant Fi struggling with Te. He finds out that all of his efforts and ideals have had no impact on reality. This causes him to question his entire identity and beliefs, struggling to come to terms with the objective reality around him (His dominant Fi clashing with Te) This is good evidence for his dominant Fi as we can see from this that his identity is based in his strong ideals which he desires to enforce upon the world somewhat. Due to this, Cal finds himself unable to accept the fact that he's fighting a losing battle. Stubbornly clinging to his ideals even when faced with a cruel and cold reality. His friends try and get him to see this, but he's too afraid to face the reality and adapt as that would mean 'giving up.' Also, he's certainly an Ne-Si user. There's a constant theme of him being rooted in his impressions and constantly making connections (Ne-Si). Furthermore, his Ne can be seen in his tendency to relate and connect present situations to experiences, ideas and any number of things. for example, at one point in the game he sees a creature get frightened and ready to attack which unconsciously causes him to straight away reflect on Cere's words and apply them. In this scenario, he did not see reality objectively and for what it was, "This is dangerous, there's a creature that could attack me.." Instead, saw it for the connections and outward possibilities it had (unconsciously recognising and recalling a lesson through the creature based on his past impressions, Ne-Si)
