As everyone says, at first he seems like an ISTJ but while the story progresses he starts showing his Ni slowly to the point that it's very obvious. He's a character that has a good correlation between Ni-Te having a good balance, regarding his needs on the history of course. If he were an ISTJ I don't think he would have made the decisions that he has made so far, also I think he would have an obsession or we would have more scenes of him talking about his past or him trying to recreate it to have a "comfort zone" or feel safer doing that. Biography
Dutiful and mysterious, Shin Soohyuk acts a catamite for the current King. Despite rejecting the King’s tyrannical rule, he knows he must keep his head down and perform his duty.
