Personality

What personality type is Nathaniel Richards “Kang the Conqueror”? Nathaniel Richards “Kang the Conqueror” is an ENTJ personality type in MBTI, 8w9 - sx/sp - 836 in Enneagram, RCOEI in Big 5, LIE in Socionics.

I agree with the consensus. I think Kang is an ENTJ, but, I will explain why I think he is. I'm not just listening to throng song coming to this conclusion. I don't see him as an INTJ. I really don't see him as an ENFJ, but, I do think Jonathan Majors (the actor who plays him) is likely an ENFX. Kang The Conqueror : "Janet stole something from me. My ticket out of here. And you're the only who can steal it back." Scott Lang : "And why would I do that?" Kang The Conqueror : "Because you want to get out of here." This dialogue examples Kang's use of Objective Optics/Vantages (Te). ✅ Note how Kang responds "Because you want to get out of here." He is point-of-view focused (Te), not perspective focused (Ti). ✅ Note how, throughout the film, Kang has a very inclusive use of his logic. He reasons with Janet and Scott with THEIR reasons. He is not trying, like a Ti user, to pull people into his way of thinking, but, instead, like a Te user, he is using their logically lined thoughts against their values. He is trying to establish logical ground with others. That's Te. Kang The Conqueror : "You think this is new to me? Do you know how many rebellions I put down? How many worlds I've conquered? How many Avengers I've killed? And you think you can beat me? I am Kang!" This quote examples Kang's use of Subjective Knowledge/Expectancy (Ni). ✅ Note how Kang responds with an across time subject active awareness and uses himself as a measure for probability. This is Ni. Kang The Conqueror : "I'm a man who likes to be understood." This quote examples Kang's use of Objective Opportunism/Aestheticism (Se). ✅ Note how Kang is relentlessly in pursuit of his aim. He is combative with his presence, holding ground, against any invading presence, like a king sitting in a high throne. He does not scale opportunity down to the subject, like an Si user would, but, instead, he scales opportunity up and out to the object, like an Se user would do. You can clearly see him walk headfirst into overwhelming odds, without a thought of his own security. This is Se = letting the object create the opportunity and seizing it without hesitation. Janet Van Dyne : "You'd be wiping out entire timelines, murdering trillions of people." Kang The Conqueror : "I wish that mattered, Janet." This exchange examples Kang's use of Subjective Metrics/Values/Limitation (Fi). ✅ Note how Kang responds to Fe considerations by saying "I wish that mattered." Throughout the movie, Kang values his own value of things, of subject and object. He doesn't have a problem saying no to people. It's how he rules his empire. Fi is his inferior function. He values his personal evaluation (Fi), but, he represses it when it contradicts his object active view of things (Te). Kang The Conqueror : "Let me make this easy for you. You will bring me what I need, or I will kill your daughter in front of you, then make you relive that moment, over and over again in time, endlessly, until you beg me to kill you. Do we understand?" I think it's evident Kang is on the Te-Fi and Ni-Se axes, and there is a higher emphasis he places on his extraverted thinking. So, Kang The Conqueror is most probable an ENTJ.
