What personality type is Celebrimbor? Celebrimbor is an INTP personality type in MBTI, 5w4 - so/sx - 541 in Enneagram, in Big 5, in Socionics.
So, I can see how Celebrimbor could be any form of INXX from most of the information we have on him, but the one conversation that we have from the Unfinished Tales about the making of the Elessar it seems to me that he is trying to communicate with Galadriel with a pretty week Fe. He spends most of the time just agreeing with her then saying that he would do something which resulted in the second Elessar. I see that as him being a bit uncomfortable because he likes her and overtrying to use Fe because he doesn't want to offend her when she's talking about her feelings, but as soon as he can he tries to fix her problem in the only way he can, by shiny magic engineering. Also, that section is straight up a Middle Earth interpretation of what some of my INTP friends who have liked me have said.
Biography
The son of Curufin. Celebrimbor survived the ruin of Beleriand and settled in the elven realm of Eregion in the Second Age, which he ruled after Galadriel and Celeborn relocated to Lothlórien. Like his father and grandfather, Celebrimbor was the greatest smith of his age. Against Galadriel's advice, he created the Rings of Power with the disguised Sauron, but suspecting his partner, he created the Three Rings of the Elves in secret, which were not corrupted by the Dark Lord. When the treachery was uncovered, Sauron declared war on Eregion and slew Celebrimbor, but not before the Three Rings were entrusted to Gil-galad and Galadriel.
