What personality type is Granger? Granger is an ISTP personality type in MBTI, 9w8 - sp/sx - 954 in Enneagram, RCOEN in Big 5, SLI in Socionics.
He doesn't show any Ne or even Si from what I've seen. The only argument that could be made for Si is that he has an personal attachment with his violin which is not enough. He doesn't exploring a multitude of theoretical possibilities and ideas that were irrelevant to the current situation ever since he's straightforward and practical minded, He doesn't trying to overcomplicate things by introducing new concepts or jumping around to a bunch of different ideas like an Ne users would be. Most of his observations on the external world were mostly focused on what he saw "purely" in the present moment aka Se. He is focused on gathering and absorbing sensory details from the external world not on things beyond the present moment. He didn't toy with several theoretical possibilities and ideas in order to arrive at a conclusion. For now we did know much about this dude to type his enneagram as his enneegram subtype without relying on some sort of stereotypes or head Canon. Although I agree with SLI typing.
