What personality type is Shen Jiu? Shen Jiu is an INTJ personality type in MBTI, 4w3 - sx/sp - 468 in Enneagram, RLOEI in Big 5, in Socionics.
I disagree with the enneagram. He is 3w4 and I have proofs. So, Jiu tried his whole life to be a good cultivator because his core was weak and so was his body. And he did it to survive. He only cared about the result and thought about it so much that it interfered with meditation, after which he received qi deflection (and this was written in the novel itself). It is true that he envied the others, but only because they were more fortunate in life than he was. He had nothing and no one who would really be close to him (Yue "betrayed" him, so he does not count for him). And the rest were lucky to have a family, a strong core, good comrades and normal teachers. Indeed, in his case, he was unlucky and he was either used or betrayed. Plus, almost everyone hates him. And because of this, he does not trust anyone and tries to be a loner in order to achieve his goals alone. He is definitely a 3 because he only lives for his ambition to improve his cultivation. After all, his main fear is to be worthless. And usually people with enneagram 3 just hate to lose. Shen Qingqiu (沈清秋 Shěn Qīngqiū), birth name Shen Jiu (沈九 Shěn Jiǔ), is the original owner of the body that Shen Yuan transmigrated into after his death. It is unknown what happened to Shen Jiu after the transmigration took place.
