OMG THE TI-NI LOOP THROUGHOUT THAT WHOLE MOVIE😭😭 "Mike you need to learn to let go and move on" Throughout the movie he's constantly plagued by and focused on the sole gole of solving the truth and underlying meaning and pattern behind his brother's kidnapping(Ti-Ni) that he forgets or overlooks to truly focus on fixing and engaging with his present moment and relationships(Se-Fe) We also get a glimpse on that whole aux Se with how it suddenly came up when he saw what he thought was a man trying to also kidnap a child and he started beating the crap out of him which Se is commonly known to be quite impulsive. Another great example that shows his Se use is what he says to Vanessa about his dream which pardom me if I get the exact quote wrong but it goes something like this: "Everyday I go back to that dream and I look for any clues or details in my surroundings or just anything that I might've missed." This shows not only how observant he is but how he readily percieves/experiences sensory data outwardly with his senses which again relates to Se. Oh and do I need to remind how down to earth and realistic he is? Just remember what he says to Abby about her imaginary friends😭 The Si idealist/critic function(which is the 6th function for ISXP's) also makes sense as he idealises his past experiences/impressions, comfort zone and routine which also seems to be a heavy burden and stressor on him too. Overall love how his Se-Fe grows healthier throughout the movie and omgg his relation with Vanessa and Abby is so cute I swearrr😩❤ Honestly a solid main character even if he started out as an a-hole in the beginning👍🏻 Also at first I thought he was an obvious 9w8 due to the indolence and passion of Sloth and maybe even aggressiveness and anger movement too but now I realise that's not really the case and if anything Mike engages with his head and mind more and is driven by fear, guilt and his responsibilities(obvious Head Type sx6)
