What personality type is Otto Apocalypse? Otto Apocalypse is an ENFJ personality type in MBTI, 2w1 - so/sx - 251 in Enneagram, SCOEI in Big 5, EIE in Socionics.
I've always wondered why Otto's current typing never really sat right with me, and after finishing his final chapter- the uncertainty became clearer. I think that there is a fundamental misunderstanding of his character in this site. In his final moments, he preached kallen's will and revealed that he placed her above him- he didn't play the role of someone that is lovesick, but rather one that is considered a faithful follower and one that succesfuly achieved his goal of reviving his god, thus acting as a saint. However, we all know how untrue that is. He has done atrocious things and he had sacrificed his status and power- and in his end, he didn't have any follower himself. The contrast between his image and his deeds showed his fraudulence, but of course he believes that these are only means to an end. One day, he ended his time as a shicksal overseer- and revealed himself as the fraud that he is. In this sense, it is his sacrifice: one that is self serving rather than selfless. Self serving in the sense that he is doing it to further his plans. The other e2 subtypes do not simply fit him at all, but I'll go over them for argument-sake. sp2: "appealing to more timid and somewhat childlike seduction, being convinced that others must take care of them, feeling like they deserve the best treatment." https://wiki.personality-database.com/books/enneagram/page/self-preservation-2-in-detail sx2: "They constantly move between seduction and aggressiveness, they are generous, indulgent and flatterers but can also be heavily impulsive when their pride is hurt and the love they expect is not given back." -https://wiki.personality-database.com/books/enneagram/page/sexual-2-in-detail while these are only one-sentence quotes, I think that we can see how unfitting these are. sp2s are entitled and produce an image of a child to gain protection from others, and sx2s are indulgent and impulsive flatterers, ontop of craving emotionality, they are also very hellbent on the other person returning the love and it is possibly the subtype that goes agaisnt his character the most.
