“Don’t flatter yourself, Kenobi, you’ve never been much to look at, especially now.” MBTI —> Ti-Fe —o—> “In the generator room, Ventress and Unduli duel: Unduli is swiftly outmatched as Ventress, outraged because Unduli is taunting her fighting style as a sloppy, amateurish and unrefined imitation of Dooku's, overpowers Unduli and traps her under a number of collapsed pipes.” (S1-E9): Okay, I kindly request that individuals with more forefront Ti to please correct my arbitrary misinterpretations of how the cognitive function works, but my understanding of more prominent Ji (introverted judging function) is that it if it is particularly insecure, then it reacts poorly through its countering, lesser Je (extroverted judging) function as sort of “overcompensation” (“Sorry. I’ve got penises on my mind.”)— thus, when Master Unduli critiques Asajj’s abilities, Asajj herself felt attacked for having her personally established theories of self-sufficiency attacked, thus provoking her inferior Fe rage. —> Ti-Se —o—> “Ventress sets up three tests to aid in the selection: A test of arms, in which the candidates attack Ventress; a test of darkness, in which they have to face Ventress hidden in the shadows and their own fear; and a test of skill, in which they have to elude Ventress while navigating a maze of rising stone blocks.” (S3-E13): To add to her evaluations of what is logically sufficient, Asajj extrapolates her logical perspectives through practical, immediate reality per auxiliary Se and per inferior Fe, holds rather unforgiving, but largely objective perspectives on the Zabraks’ capabilities when she subjugated them to the trials of who would be her personal assassin— there was also the previous episode in which Mother Talzin had told Asajj about the Nighsisters’ best warriors, but Asajj herself countering that she would be the judge of that. —> Ti-Ni —o—> “The apparition of Talzin encourages her to follow a new path before she dissipates, leaving the desolate Ventress to face an uncertain future.” (S4-E19): Obviously, such a matter might be more contextually prevalent to Asajj’s Enneagram 6 of seeking security in things beyond herself, but I do believe struggling tertiary Ni is pretty explanatory for the existential anxiety of not having a purposeful direction to take her dominant Ti evaluations towards; perhaps it’s also of matter of Asajj becoming too rattled with fuzzy misconceptions of being a victim to tertiary Ni “deeper reasons” for her abandonment, transgressing practical Se to decide how to appropriately move forward when the Nightsisters are lost. ENNEAGRAM —> 6 - Motivations and Fears —o—> “In her feverish dreams, Ventress recalls how she was rescued from a slaver whom her mother sold her to and taken in by Jedi Knight Ky Narec as a child, her apprenticeship under him, his death and her descent into the dark Side, her being taken in by Dooku and his betrayal.” (S3-E12): Poor Asajj, what a tragic and undeserving past, it ultimately makes sense how her Enneagram 6 motivations come to take shape; she ultimately finds security through others and struggles with uncertainty about how to go about her life without an authority to guide her along the path; it was the case since she was a child and thus why she turned back to the Nightsisters when Count Dooku had turned on her. —> 6 - “Externalized” Anxiety —o—> “Ventress then meets the rest of their partners: Dengar, C-21 Highsinger, and the team's leader, Boba Fett, with whom Ventress clashes with immediately about his youth and the resultant lack of skill she perceived came with it.” (S4-E20): Obviously, Asajj’s dismissal of Boba Fett’s abilities comes from her Ti-Se skepticism of his skills and practices as a younger teenager, but I also think her being more directly challenging and skeptical of others comes as a result of feeding into her secondary sexual instinct, especially as she encountered so much loss and abandonment cooperation with people she could find security through; she begins to challenge her fears. —> 6 - Wing 7 —o—> “Anakin begins interrogating Ventress but quickly she admits that she wanted to turn Ahsoka in for the bounty on her head, but instead helped Ahsoka after realizing how similar they actually were. Anakin snarls at this comment, enraged that Ventress is accusing him of being a negligent Master. Ventress snaps that she is telling the truth, as her master had also abandoned her.” (S5-E20): The Wing 7 movement towards other people and inferior Fe come hand-in-hand here as Asajj recognizes her own circumstances in Padawan Tano and thus finds a point of sympathy, having been abandoned by masters and people of security here whole life— it is through a mutual, trusted connection in which Asajj decides to offer security herself, a temporary interpersonal establishment of loyalty.

Biography

As a child Ventress was kind and caring, but became dark and brooding after the death of her master, Ky Narec. Giving in to rage and resentment, she subsequently spiraled into darkness. Known to be quick to anger, Ventress could easily be infuriated, such as when her formidable lightsaber skills were described to her as those of an amateur by Luminara Unduli. Despite her quick temper, she was very cunning and swift, allowing her to outsmart most foes. Ventress could also be vindictive and inconsiderate. After being betrayed, abandoned and nearly killed by Dooku, Ventress desired to kill him and went to the Nightsisters to find a way to defeat her former Master. She recruited Savage Opress and treated him like a slave, which ultimately caused him to turn against her.
