(Starting warning Please if u are an INFJ, don't get offended. This is just what I've seen and experienced from INFJs I know.) Hi, now I'm not very highly skilled in my knowledge of cognitive functions, but I think Barbra Gordon is an ISTJ. I am also an ISTJ, and I feel I feel Barbara can be mistaken as a feeler. I feel she is a T type, and I'll explain why using myself also as an example. There are a lot of stereotypes at play in this community, and tho some are true, not all things apply on an individual basis, be they real people or characters. With enneagrams, it can make the mbti type of a person very unclear. with Barbara and myself, I am a 6w5, and I have a 2 in my type. I think that Enneagram 2 can make T types appear like F now because, like every human being, we care, but I can't explain it, but I tend to see true feelers go an extra step/ mile. I'm a therapist friend. I tend to listen to the needs and concerns of my friends all the time. I have an INFJ friend (please this is not to jab at other INFJ it's not my intention.) but they seem to be whiney and give up far too easily or just help when convent from the ones I've seen and met there's over thinking messes that get analysis by paralysis so hard that they may never act. I don't see that in Barbara sure there is an issue of an old comic(The Batman Chronicles Issue #5) you see her at possibly her lowest after getting home from the hospital (after the incident of the killing joke) and she felt broken and how she felt she couldn't be batgirl anymore. Now, like everyone and well-written characters, she has self-doubts but she rises above them her duty to Gotham her father, and all she loves gives her the power to press forward. That right there and her bit of know-it attitude at times makes it clear to me personally that she is an ISTJ like me. You can also take into account her enneagram where other dots don't add up like possible intuition and such to find the pieces fit better. But She is a very smart 3-dimensional character, so I understand it can be hard to type characters like this. I just feel Barbara is focused on more the here and now in her life, not on a distant future like N types normally are. She is very much like her father but I feel her enneagram and her independent attitude make her different than her father, but they both want and act pretty similarly. (Jim is also an ISTJ) Also other things to consider about Barbara that are usually ISTJ traits. She is a very get it done type of person truly her analytical skills as Oracel prove that ISTJ are one of the most hard working and analytical types out there and add a ennegram 5 in the mix helps with intuativeness. Most of these charects are detective to some degree they are good at looking at details and pieacing them together wich is a big trait for ISTJs as well and why she one only character that can Rival Batman an into in a technological stand point. Now another thing to consider she always speaks her mind in comics she doesn't sugar cost and can be savage at times. I'm sorry that is completely an ISTJ trait. Info worry far too much on what they say and how that affects other Barabara is compationate and thoughtful yes but she would never not speak her mind to keep the peace like F types do. Now INFJs I can understand some writers and especially animated series make her seem like an info. Younger Babdin 52, and her animated series counter part especially. So I can understand why some of you can be miss informed on how this character is but for year's post 52 and maybe closest to 3 jokers comic, and Even closest video game being Arkaham Knight and Gotham knights. Show how her More prominent original character personality. Which is an ISTJ. But thank you for taking the time to read and please this is just a website let's keep it civil
