Personality

What personality type is Dick Grayson “Robin” / “Nightwing”? Dick Grayson “Robin” / “Nightwing” is an ENTP personality type in MBTI, 7w6 - sp/so - 713 in Enneagram, SCOAI in Big 5, LIE in Socionics.

typical ENTP 5w6, I've been studying this combination, so I believe this version of Dick represents that well, the 5w6 enneagram is one of the more Introverted enneagrams, which explains his Introversion even though he is ENTP, he's also the typical solitary problem-solver who's been there for the team but still at a distance, he doesn't let on but all his drama is in search of independence and autonomy, mainly from Batman, I don't see him as a type 3, he didn't show much of that, he is indeed a seeker of approval and admiration from Batman and his team, but he doesn't seem to have that as his main drama, it doesn't revolve around the fear of failing or disappointing, a 3w4 really breaks when it lets someone down, it really wants people to recognize its worth, this is your priority, and this trait in Dick is a lot less intense than that, I think the most workaholic traits come from wing 6, 5 wants to be independent and autonomous, while 6 wants to impress and belong, therefore a 5w6 will be someone with a strong thirst for autonomy and belonging, hence your need for approval, and type 7 for sure he is not...

Biography

As Robin, Dick Grayson was the junior partner to Batman. Known colloquially as The Boy Wonder, he took the Caped Crusader's training very seriously. He is not only a skilled acrobat in his own right (a trait he came by before becoming Robin), but he is a skilled hacker, strategist, and escape artist. At 13 years of age, he was amazingly the most senior of the teen heroes of this 'verse. He is quick with the wisecracks, but serious underneath. During the five-year gap between the first two seasons, he changes his superhero identity to Nightwing and becomes leader of the Team. After Wally West's death, Nightwing took a leave of absence from the team, and eventually formed his own, but rejoined the Team when Batman Incorporated folded back into the League.
