Aladdin MBTI Personality Type

Personality

What personality type is Aladdin? Aladdin is an ESFP personality type in MBTI, 7w8 - so/sx - 739 in Enneagram, SCUAI in Big 5, IEE in Socionics.

Aladdin is a peak Se dom character; He’s quick to respond to the environment around him and use the external world to his advantage (for example: the chasing scene in the very beginning of the movie). Most would say he has Ti-Fe because of altruism and his improvisation skills but honestly, if you take a look at the his behavior and the lyrics in his songs like “A whole new world” for example. “Tell me princess, when did you last let your heart decide?” = Fi imo Also, i believe his inner morals are reflected in the way he thinks that Jasmine will only love him if he’s a real prince. The altruism is more so a part of his personal values rather than Fe tert tbh. Personally think he has an inferior Ni due to not thinking things through clearly. He’s somewhat shortsighted as he doesn’t realize how, for example, his lies have consequences. I think we can all agree on enneagram 7 but why w8? Isn’t 7w6 better suited for him? 7w6’s tend to look for fullfillment in their lives by enjoying the moment in it’s full glory. Also, they fear missing out and Aladdin feared on missing the opportunity to get to know Jasmine and make her fall in love with him essentially. I feel like SCUAI is pretty self explanatory if you know what each letter means. Also, his optimistic and enthusiastic demeanor leads me to type him as Sang Dom

Biography

Aladdin is the titular protagonist of Disney's 1992 animated feature film of the same name. A former street rat from the city of Agrabah, Aladdin spent much of his youth scraping for food and ducking guards with his monkey sidekick Abu. Though sanguine, Aladdin's poor upbringing left him with severe insecurity, making him feel worthless and undeserving of love, specifically that of Princess Jasmine. He nevertheless sustained a heroically selfless deposition, which in turn made him entitled to a magic lamp concealing a wish-granting genie. Aladdin is based on the eponymous character of the Aladdin folk tales featured in the Middle Eastern One Thousand and One Nights stories.
