What personality type is Prince Charming? Prince Charming is an ESFP personality type in MBTI, 3w4 - so/sx - 378 in Enneagram, SLOEN in Big 5, SEE in Socionics.
Charming is an ESFP due to his blatant displays of Fi throughout the series and over-reliance on Te. Throughout the entire movie he felt completely entitled to whatever came his way such as Fiona, The Kingdom of Far Far Away, and other things due to his mother’s assurance that he would have it in the future (Te tert). Rather than try to fit into the ideals of those around him, he was driven for others to recognize and appreciate him as he was and regard him as the best which is more obvious Fi>Fe usage. He was rather exuberant and “extra” even often slipping out of character in Shrek 1 due to his Fi aux when he had to pretend to be Shrek (he showed this by blowing kisses to the crowd, being overly romantic towards Fiona, going overboard during his dance with her, etc.) He didn’t care to learn Shrek’s characteristics or behavior in order to properly blend in, he just assumed that he was doing a fine job and continued to let his true character slip out. Due to his blatant Fi displays Fiona was able to easily discern that he was not Shrek. He often vented to his mother and displayed his Fi aux qualms with “Umm FYI not my fault! I mean…how charming can I be when I have to pretend I’m that dreadful ogre?” The only reason why he continued on with the plan was because of his mother’s assurance and his over-reliance on her words which promised she would “handle” things or that he would “still be king.” (Te) He was a valiant attention-seeker who sought his innermost desires and things that aligned with his personal interests. For those typing him as a Ti user can you please give an explanation or some examples for that functioning? Currently I fail to see how he can be anything other than FiTe

Prince Charming is the son of the Fairy Godmother. He is very handsome, and was supposed to rescue Princess Fiona from her dragon-guarded tower.
