What personality type is Raven? Raven is an INFJ personality type in MBTI, 5w4 - sp/so - 549 in Enneagram, RCOAI in Big 5, EII in Socionics.
ok this isn't me tryna be that Infj tryna make their favourite characters all Infjs but her Fe is very prominent. She's very comfortable expressing her emotions and only hesitates to not burden others. You can see that she thrives in social situations but avoids them non the less. I think if she was an Intj she would have far less skills in this area. She always prioritises her team over her own personal goals, if you've watched the series I don't thinks it's necessary to go into detail on why, well mainly bc of her father. She's also very attuned to the emotional well-being and atmosphere of her team, she may not seem like it because of her aloof and sometimes expressionless behaviour but she wouldn't have done so many things throughout the series to support her team mates. For example giving Damein a dog because she understood how hard it was for him to connect with others, and how he was longing for a connection. she didn't do this because she wanted a more efficient member of the team, it was because she genuinely cared for him as a perosn, and this was before she actually loved him. Another example of her Fe is her valuing social harmony. This cab be seen on a multitude of occasions, like with Terra. She didn't dislike Terra at first because she was suspicious of her, she was extremely concerned, overeing her own energy and time to treat her trauma. Long after Terra expressed multiple suspicious behaviour of her being a traitor, then Raven became suspicious. She was always weary of Terra because she understood her potential asa threat from her traumatic memories. If she was an Intj she would have been suspicious of Terra right from the start after seeing into her mind, she definitely wouldn't have been captured. I was going to make an argument about how Raven is literally an empath and has an extremely clear view of others memories, feelings, ect, as well as an amazing understanding of emotions from her training. But this could have just been from her own culture and civilisation because they valued the spirit and its emotions. Intjs are focused on their own problems, whether they are selfish or not, while Infjs prioritise others emotions far more. This is thr mian difference between these two types and Raven shows the later far more, from the examples I have listed. Thanks for reading and I would love to hear your thoughts because I haven't seen a single strong argument as to why she's an Intj, many people have been claiming that stereotypes are driving people to vote for her as an INFJ so I hope I haven't provided that in my argument. Either way she seems like either of the two types so I'll be satisfied with either one as long as someone provides some good arguments without undermining and disregarding the other sides points.
