What personality type is Cheng Xiaoshi? Cheng Xiaoshi is an ESFP personality type in MBTI, 7w6 - so/sx - 728 in Enneagram, SLUAI in Big 5, SEE in Socionics.
I've made an argument previously... but this still kinda bothers me... So after coming back here... I noticed a pattern of the ISFP voters (some of this I've mentioned in my earlier response to someone below) : - ISFP voters *thought* that ESFP voters type him based on the stereotypes; and because he's bubbly and cheerful = no we are not. We (or at least I am) are aware of this. In fact, I think u guys are typing him ISFP because he's not very people-oriented and mostly just interacts with Lu Guang and Qiao Ling)... and therefore he's not (that stereotype) ESFP. Nope guys. Se gets their energy from jumping from one experience to another (doesn't necessarily have to be with a group of people). And this Se (perceiving function) is backed up with Fi (judging function) - which allows him to make decisions based on what he thinks is the right thing to do. But that Fi doesn't come before Se. He has the tendency to Se-ing around first and bringing up Fi later... - Most arguments with ISFP voters tend to mention tert Ni, and the idea is that ESFP wouldn't be able to come up with the scheming plot for capturing the serial killer.... mainly because ESFP has this "no-think" policy = instead of the "no-think" policy, I think it's more like they have this "dance first think later" policy which in this case for Xiaoshi, it leads him (and Lu Guang/others) to quite some problems. Besides, you only take that one plotting scene to decide "Oh he's tert Ni" - but that's it. That's your only main argument for ISFP. But in my opinion... [well forget it imma stop polite-polishing my writing :') ]... My point is = where is your argument of Xiaoshi using Fi before Se? He doesn't seem to have this Fi-filter before delving into actions. Besides Fi (undoubtedly) tends to see the world through the lense of values, likes, dislikes, and their self identity. And meanwhile, Xiaoshi tends to revel in experiences and adventures way more than talking or thinking about his identity or likes/dislikes or stuff like that... -ISFP voters compared Xiaoshi to Yuuji Itadori, for that they share a lot of similarities. = People of different types can reach the same decision and take the same course of actions. It's just the way they get there (the process) that is different... Also, can you pls stop. We're talking about Xiaoshi here. No need to bring up other characters that's not in the series. People would be convinced with your argument as an independent entity if your argument is strong enough - without the need to bring up external variables.
