What personality type is David Miller? David Miller is an ESFP personality type in MBTI, 7w6 - sp/sx - in Enneagram, SLUAI in Big 5, in Socionics.
(JD spoilers) I don't think he has a 9 fix tbh. For the same reason I don't think he's a Fe user, David isn't exactly that conflict-averse? Being afraid of what others think isn't a Fe trait imo. I see a lot more Fi-Te from David. Whenever something happened to Exer or his sister, he was always reactive with zero hesitation (i.e. yelling, getting upset, defending) and that just doesn't seem that Fe + 9 fix to me (unless you equate Fe to "he cares about others!!"...). He's not one to pilot or adjust his feelings to objective situations - he almost always reacts from internalization, rather than projects in response to externalization. In other words, David doesn't particularly care for how his own feelings affect the outer environment. Compare this to Brenda or Exer, both Fe users. They kept their secret from David for an entire year (and still didn't tell him; he found out by himself) in fear of how he would react. David, on the other hand, after discovering, is furious with the fact that they were dishonest and didn't tell him by themselves (+ heartbreak, but the points still stands). 8 fix > 9 fix in the fact that I don't see any 9 in him - his multiple fights with Jackson prove this much. 2 and 8 are actually more similar than a lot of people realize because they equate 8 to being overly domineering and aggressive, an idea that is more stereotypical than anything else. 8 is a protective enneagram; usually what you would associate with someone who stands up to others for their friends (or even themselves). 9 is very passive and unlikely to do the same, which I don't really see in David at all. Of course, I don't think he's 8 enough for it to be his core, but I see more 8 fix than 9. Open to being wrong, though. For the time being I think he's Fi aux Te tert (I also don't see Ne) ESFP 7 with an 8 fix.
