I'm not sure about her being ENFP (I see ESFP as a possibility), but I'm certain that she is not a Te dom. while I watched the movie, I regarded her as a high Fi user, and I don't understand why so many people see dominant Te in her. a character doesn't necessarily have high Te because they're an over-achiever or because they know how to plan and make money, you know. any type can be efficient, especially if they're a 3 Te collects external information about reality to construct the person's understanding of reality. it's focused on facts, statistics, objective information. and since the dominant function has an opposition relationship with the inferior function, Te doms will disregard Fi as an important function when judging new data. their emotional, subjective side wil be underdeveloped, and they will mostly see it as a confusing, nonsensical part of themselves Mei does not see the emotional, personal side of herself as something confusing or that should necessarily be repressed. she knows who she is, knows what she likes, knows exactly who she wants to be. and the only reason why she tries to hide this part of herself is because of her mother's expectations, and not because her brain has the natural tendency to value external, logical principles. ie. she does not even question the decision of just becoming the panda for weeks and never thinks about the consequences of her actions or if they make sense. she prioritized personal goals over external responsibilities compare her to Isabella from Encanto, for instance. Isabella didn't even know that there was a part of herself that she was hiding, that there was something she longed for deep down. when she saw the cactus she accidentally created, she was surprised. it wasn't something she knew she wanted, or needed, because she was too busy trying to do what was "correct" in detriment of her own personal needs even though Mei tries to repress her true self, she still explores it in various scenes in the movie. unlike Isabella, she is in touch with her feelings and personal needs. she is a high Fi user who is being forced to repress her Fi due to her environment's influence, and not due to cognitive tendencies. it does not make sense to type a character whose true identity is to make decisions based on what they personally like or want as a Te dom. all of her decisions are motivated by what she personally values/wants, and the main conflict she faces in the movie is how to express that freely. definitely not a high Te user
