Caine spends his free time as close to his daughter as he is allowed to experience her music. Is vocal about not wanting to do the job but when his daughter's life is leveraged against him he buckles (Fe). At Osaka he allows the Marquis' forces to do most of the heavy lifting at first as he would rather eat some ramen (9w8) but also he has no care for them (Ti). I think when he listens to the music in the locket he carries around he (Ni) imagines what his daughter looked and sounded like during the last time he able to see her. John and Caine at the end of the movie show off their history by critiquing each other's movements/actions to be more efficient. John, after seeing Caine stab somebody with his cane sword: "6 inches is enough" This is Ti-Se. Caine using Ti tertiary values this as his Ti is in the child slot which inherently idolizes the strength of John's Ti which is much stronger. I f-ing love INFJ + ISTP relationships that are healthy, it is so cool to witness.
