The true leader of the basketball club, who is jealous of Troy because he doesn't get the same recognition as leadership and because he really wants to be the leader. He makes friends with Troy, even though he really thinks he's a Pamonha (Imagine the guy doesn't make up his mind for anything) and manipulates Troy in different ways in a very subtle way, to see if Troy takes responsibility as a Basketball leader. How the good guy does absolutely NOTHING, but nobody notices that. Chad lives the character of the basketball leader's best friend. As much as deep down Chad cares a lot more about it than Troy (who just wants to make money really). How Chad is underestimated with the value he deserves on the team, probably because of something racial and also because Troy is only a star because he is the son of the coach. Deep down Chad thinks Troy is a goofball, and extremely manipulable. So much so that Chad manipulates Troy at every opportunity just to wake him up and make him realize that he doesn't pay attention to absolutely nothing. Chad is not a good friend, but he is a partner in fun times and in those moments he likes Troy, and he is more friends with Zachary than with Troy, because he thinks Zachary knows a lot more about the things he does, while Troy is a passive lost and without much subject.
