Maybe the spirit of compassion gives him some xNFJ-esque traits but his whole questline revolves around who he is as much as it does his passion for understanding the pain of others - the cryptic utterances and painful remembrance seem like Fi-Si more than Ni-Ti. If he was Ni-dom I think he'd have more foresight about what was to become of him and why, and he'd probably be more detached regarding the idea of revenge (which he ultimately foregoes because he realises in himself that it would bring him no peace).
