"Goro Akechi은 어떤 성격 유형입니까? Goro Akechi은 mbti의 ENTJ 성격 유형입니다. enneagram의 3w2 - so/sp - 368, big 5의 SLOEI, socionics의 LIE입니다."

I find that there seems to be a misconception about what exactly it is that Akechi feels envious of. Social Threes are described to be as competitive and Akechi’s character heavily resonates with how envy intertwines with Akechi’s desire to succeed. “Envy is one of the silent engines of his action. At work he will go after his ambitions with crude chameleon tricks and showing his “merchandise” at all times: what he has or with whom he is related”. When we analyze Akechi’s relationship with Joker, we can understand that Akechi’s ‘envy’ and even slight resentment towards Joker stems from objective standards he set for himself and used to compare himself with Joker (which I find to overall be a showcase of strong Te and inferior Fi as Akechi seems unable to separate these external standards from his own personal feelings and desires). “Teammates!? Friends!? To hell with that! Why am I inferior to you!? I was extremely particular about my life, my grades, my public image! So someone would want me around[...]" We don’t ever see Akechi consumed by envy and the desire to be ‘special’, and I think this speech, in particular, shows why Akechi 'resents' Joker. It isn't that Akechi resents Joker as an individual, as @/sacrimela in reply to this pointed out, as Akechi believes he's objectively better than Joker based on external standards (looks, intelligence, etc..) which I think is a good example of Te as Akechi is once again using external standards to measure himself with against Joker. I would also like to mention that Social Three characteristics also fits Akechi’s desire for revenge towards Shido. Social Threes are categorized as vengeful and especially with Akechi’s attempt to appear as a useful ally for Shido, it should be noted that this is described as “there [being] opportunity to exact a cold revenge where everything will be worth it”. This is something Akechi explains himself with how he wishes to see Shido’s reaction to Akechi’s revenge once his image drops. I’d also like to comment that I don’t think Akechi uses or has a Fe-image. His image could definitely be seen as someone who tried, and failed, to appear as an ENFJ. Akechi, regardless of his image, has always been someone to value and focus on overall efficiency. I think that when we see him interacting with the Phantom Thieves prior to his “betrayal”, his words come off as much more passive-aggressive but overall still show his desire to get the job done as efficiently and effectively as possible (we can see it in some of his unused navigation lines). “You are a Phantom Thief, yes? Then you should be able to tell when it's time to exit the scene!" + "Don't forget to heal unless you want to put our lives in danger or something" (Possible warning when party's HP is below 25% when not in Battle) are some of his unused lines that also stood out. I find that ENTJ so3 best fits Akechi based on both his appearances in the third semester and the base game. Though I’m always open to reading any arguments that counter this! EDIT: I suggest reading the reply @/sacrimela made since they provided good insight about Akechi's 'envy'. I deleted/edited part of my initial post since another commenter has already explained it but I'd also recommend reading @/yvkhan post that explains why the "Teammates!? Friends!?..." speech is a good example of Te.

Goro Akechi (明智 吾郎) is the ninth member of the Phantom Thieves of Hearts. Akechi is a teenage detective and the "Second Coming of the Detective Prince" who initially tracks the Phantom Thieves as a sympathetic inspector antagonist in connection with the mental shutdown incidents he's been investigating. However, after stumbling upon one of the Thieves' Palace infiltrations, Akechi strikes a deal to help them find the true culprit, citing his hatred for injustice and belief that the Thieves are in fact being used as a scapegoat by a larger criminal conspiracy.
