Ok, he has no Ne. He’s ESFP with developed Ni. (An argument in the comments might actually have changed my mind on that he has strong Ni at all) The only time he’s considering multiple possibilities is the 13 day rule of the notebook. But Se doms are NOT incapable of asking questions, having theories, and considering outcomes. We cant just assume from one 10 second scene that he’s Ne user. The rest of his screen time, we see him adapting to the momentary situation. He’s not contemplating on all the outcomes before taking action. That scene where he almost gets caught by Lights father when he blows up the entire hideout for him especially, clearly shows he knows how to improvise when things go wrong, and could care less of the end consequences. He nearly killed himself without second thought. Se/Ni>>>

Mihael Keehl (Japanese: ミハエル・ケール, Hepburn: Mihaeru Kēru), universally referred to by the mononym Mello (メロ, Mero), is a fictional character in the manga series Death Note, created by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata. Mello is introduced alongside Near as a potential substitute for L. Both Mello and Near were raised at Wammy's House, an orphanage established by Watari, L's assistant. However, Mello refuses to work with Near to capture a murderer dubbed "Kira".
