Though I'm glad 5 was overtaken, considering how little sense his fanatical devotion to Rikako makes for a core type characterized by excessive resignation in regard to love and people, can the 1 voters explain in what exact ways he's a 1 rather than a 6 - and specifically why 1w9 and not 1w2, given how outward and confrontational his displays of anger are + his savior complex towards Rikako? The only time I see any qualities of 9 in him is in the epilogues... and it just so happens that 9 is the direction of integration for enneagram 6. I strongly believe he's a 6 rather than a 1. He's not self-assured or his own authority like a 1 would be - in fact, being a yes-man is his most prominent trait for the majority of the game ("That's 'cause your only value to your family is your belief that the family heads are upstanding people and that you don't shut up about it!" - Chiemi, Yomi 5/13). He is highly concerned with hierarchy, showing aggression towards those below him (the people of Yasumizu) and submission to and idealization of those above him (the village heads, including and especially Rikako) ("The pattern of 'authoritarian aggression' and 'authoritarian submission' noted by the authors of The Authoritarian Personality may be mentioned here: type VI manifests aggression towards those below and submission to those above in the authority hierarchy." - Naranjo's "Character and Neurosis": Ennea-Type VI). He certainly likes to present himself as morally superior to the people of Yasumizu, but pretty much anything he vocally opposes is something he seems to have no serious emotional difficulty flip-flopping on for self-preservation and to protect Rikako (see: how despite his stated belief that the Feast is immoral and barbaric, he's ready to participate in it and even take charge in order to ensure his and Rikako's survival from day 1; he doesn't prioritize acting in accordance to his moral principles, he prioritizes safety and security) or to simply fulfill Rikako's wishes (see: Infiltration route's ending; clear showcase he prioritizes loyalty above all else, and bases his moral convictions off external moral authority) - a far cry from the rigid internal moral principles that characterize type 1.
