I can't see Kiyo as anything other than a 6. He worries about his inability to survive on his own, yes, but he doesn't seek self-sufficiency like a 5 would - rather, he acts like a loyal lapdog in the hope of proving he's useful enough to keep around ("That's 'cause your only value to your family is your belief that the family heads are upstanding people and that you don't shut up about it!" - Chiemi, Yomi 5/13). He's not withdrawn from the outside world, so much as selective about who he chooses to attach to - the reason he's so antagonistic towards the people of Yasumizu is because he's deeply concerned with his place in the social hierarchy (another type 6 quality), not because he's resistant to relying on other people in general. In fact, when there's no social stigma involved, he pretty easily latches onto just about anyone he's part of an in-group with (ex. how quickly he latches onto Haruaki after finding out he's also an otaku), with his attachments to others being deep with pretty much unquestioning loyalty (as can be seen in the way he's willing to do literally anything for Rikako). The 1 - 1w9 votes, especially - confuse me. He certainly likes to present himself as morally superior to the people of Yasumizu, but pretty much anything he vocally opposes is something he seems to have no serious emotional difficulty flip-flopping on for self-preservation (see: how despite his belief in the immorality of the Feast he's ready to participate in it and even take charge in order to ensure his and Rikako's survival) or to simply fulfill Rikako's wishes (see: Infiltration route's ending); if you believe he's a 1, why 1w9 and not 1w2? I'm curious.
