Having an element in the mental ring means that the information of this element is consciously and conclusively processed. The mental ring of the extraverted rationals are dynamic, which means the information of the type is observed when they are moving, focused on aspects that change and alternate in reality, therefore their actions are more calculated and precise. The Mental Ring is formed by the Ego and Super-Ego Block: The Base function belongs to the Ego, the confident and conscious block. In the case of LSEs and LIEs, their Base function is Te. The creative function is also very bold and is not afraid of taking risky decisions when it comes to their respective element, but that doesn’t mean the Creative is impulsive, on the contrary, it is an extremely calculating function. This element is about the quality of the space, the notion of the sensations happening at an exact moment, comfort and discomfort, aesthetic details, pleasure/unpleasantness etc… In the case of a Mental Si, it means the type is attentive to the environment in which it is inserted, to the sensations occurring at that exact moment, to the physiological well-being of oneself and others. The LSE is an unstoppable working horse. They know exactly how to make the work environment comfortable enough to stay at that pace for as long as possible.
