- IQ = INTP - Critical Thinking = INTP - Numerical reasoning = ixtp - Verbal reasoning = inxP - Abstract reasoning = xntp - g = xntP - General abilities (multiple and wide abilities): xNxp If we synthesize everything, its INTP, being followed by their cousins, most intelligent extravert ENTP, most intelligent sensor ISTP (yup, ISTPs aren't dumb), most intelligent feeler INFP (underuse these skills a lot), most intelligent J INTJ. Sources: a) IQ: “Results from the MBTI showed that Intuition and Perceiving scores were positively and significantly associated with both intelligence test scores which were intercorrelated.” (https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s10869-007-9051-z) “Results showed that IQ was positively correlated with perceiving (MBTI), control (FIRO‐B), intellectual efficiency (CPI‐434), achievement via independence (CPI‐434), and negatively correlated with sensing (MBTI), internality (CPI‐434) and norm‐favouring (CPI‐434), supporting the majority of the hypotheses.” (https://aps.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/abs/10.1111/j.1742-9536.2011.00036.x) There is a bunch of tables on the internet ya all probably already know. b) Numerical reasoning, Verbal reasoning, Abstract reasoning, g https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Adrian_Furnham2/publication/242562699_Intelligence_in_Relation_to_Jung's_Personality_Types/links/0c9605302085f47d05000000.pdf They have on a table but we can't put images here... c) Critical Thinking (Watson-Glaser) S1: Abstract: “The purpose of this study was to identify a profile of critical thinkers. Two hundred seventy-two university students completed the Watson-Glaser Critical Thinking Appraisal-Form S and the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator-Form G. Statistical analysis revealed the following: Intuitive introverts with a thinking preference scored higher in the total measure of critical thinking skill.” [Exploration of the Relationship between Measures of Critical Thinking and Personality (Leitsch;Van Hove)] S2: “This study examined the overlap and correlations among two well-known personality measures (NEO-PI–R; Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, MBTI) and two widely used intelligence tests (the Graduate Management Assessment (GMA), Watson-Glaser Critical Thinking Appraisal (WGCTA)). The GMA measures both fluid intelligence (Gf) and crystallized intelligence (Gc), whereas WGCTA mainly assess Gc. A total of over 3,500 participants completed the four measures in a middle management assessment event. Correlational analysis showed that Extraversion on the MBTI tended to be associated with Openness and Stability on the NEO. Intuition was associated with Openness and Introversion. Feeling types tended to be both Agreeable and Neurotic while perceiving types were high on Openness but low on Agreeableness. The NEO Big Five factor of Openness was most consistently and significantly associated with both measures of intelligence (r = .09 to r =.12). Results from the MBTI showed that Intuition and Perceiving scores were positively and significantly associated with both intelligence test scores which were intercorrelated (r = .38). Regressional analysis showed that personality traits are logically and coherently related to intelligence test scores. Implications for selection and assessment are considered.” [https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s10869-007-9051-z] My notes: 1 - These correlations and relationships are low, IQ is one of the highest. There are other factors who together definitely outweighs personality, such as years of study and scholarship level. 2 - These are more Thinking related skills. Emotional intelligence depends on how you define it, it can go from INFP to ESFJ depending on defintiions. Extravert social skills exists but they are very very difficult to ever be measured. The only thing I know is that psychopaths are smarter than average on this. There are motor and strength skill as well, these are difficult to be measured, actually, strength is not but I don't recall seeing a MBTI study relating strength and MBTI type.
