Part 1. Another extremely common instance of SO4 being mistaken for SX9. Everything about Faith’s backstory, trauma, coping mechanism and unhealthy traits are all of a classical SO4 and her Image type issues are fairly clear. Before the cult, she was an abused kid, who was bullied and considered an “odd outcast” and as a result she became addicted to drugs to escape this pain. This further made her feel even worse, depressed and she even says that she wanted to die because she had no one and was not accepted by anyone. This fits in line with E4 issues. Her using drugs as an escapism is not an SX9’s narcotization, it’s literally just a coping strategy to dull the pain: something SO4 is known to do — use imagination to escape the pain. It also is the whole point of Bliss and why Faith genuinely thinks that she helps others: because she projects her own suffering onto others as she was the one who was using an imaginary world of Bliss to find a “safe space”.
