Short version: The way you've been taught typology is wrong, Fi is misrepresented, Bones is IxTP designer speed version: This page again demonstrates how horribly confounded of a medium typology has become. Half this site thinks "Fi" is simply a focus on authenticity, the other half insists it's characterized by a type of moralism. Some insist both. What if I told you Jung originally defined his Introverted Feeling type as neither of these, and that the "authenticity" highlighted on this page instead word for word comprises simple Jungian introversion? Introversion is defined as a "shying away from objects", placing higher importance on the subject (self). The Jungian introvert always values his personal view more than what's expected by the environment, he may even actively deny it (environment = "object" = extraversion; Jungian introversion and extraversion always suppress one another). At no point does the Feeling function play any sole role in this, though there is mention of an egocentric attitude *similar to that of the Introverted Thinker* (and any other Introverted type) under significant stress. Bones would for example be much more reflective of Jung's Introverted Irrational types (introverted Sensation/Intuition): underachievers, artists, philosophers, don't apply themselves, "useless to society", spend most of their time in fantasies and daydreams, only use is proving the "inner world" can be just as important as society's reliance on strict rules and guidelines. On a side note, how would Grant-stack "auxiliary Se" make any sense in this scenario? He keeps routinely zoning out and couldn't be less aware of his environment.
